The device is intended to increase facial tissue to correct volume deficit of the central part of the central part of the face in order to restore facial volume, shaping the contours of the face. The device is designed for medical and reconstructive purposes in the treatment of, for example, facial lipoatrophy due to HIV medication. DefinisseTM core filler is a sterile, biodegradable, viscoelastic, clear, transparent, isotonic and homogeneous injectable gel implant. The device is made of crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) obtained from Streptococcus equi bacteria and formulated at a concentration of 25 mg/ml in a physiological buffer, added with 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride.
Definition of core filler belongs to class III in accordance with Regulation 8 of Annex IX of Directive 93/42/EEC and the implementing D.L. Directive.
The package contains 1 syringe of 1 ml with 2 disposable needles.
